Supporting Team Scotland for Sustainable Aviation

We are delighted to be supporting Team Scotland for Sustainable Aviation for the COP26 - UN Climate Change Conference.

As a consortium member, we will work alongside some fantastic businesses and organisations who are committed to achieving a sustainable future in the aerospace and aviation sectors. The UK's Green Agenda, the sector's commitment to reducing carbon emissions through initiatives such as FlyZero, and investment in R&D to meet sustainability objectives are key in creating environmentally friendly and sustainable air travel.

The team engagement survey and subsequent meetings gave visibility to the Scottish sustainable aviation activities, established new links, raised awareness to Jet Zero, FlyZero and other major initiatives. It also started some progressive discussions. There was an overwhelming consensus that impartial management of a centralised team bringing active parties in Scotland together would be of great benefit to safeguard jobs and R&D in Scotland in sustainable aviation. Sharing visibility, information, ideas, resources, opportunities, common approaches, talking about problems and working together were some of the benefits identified by the team.

We look forward to contributing towards a more sustainable future for aviation

We seek partners, integrators and manufacturers alike to join with us, support our innovation today and plan for tomorrow.
